Job Description
The accountant is responsible for assisting in all facets of financial operations, including the monthly close cycle, financial reporting standards, internal controls, accuracy of General Ledger and Analysis.
This position sits in East Granby, CT and will report to the Finance Controller.
Key Responsibilities
• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assists with preparation and submission of company payrolls.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Be familiar with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions by working with accounting staff at other MB facilities.
• Analyze costs and determine proper classification of fixed assets based on company capitalization policies.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance or related field required and 1-3 years’ experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment or special combination of education, experience, and accomplishments.
• Comfortable working with multiple IT systems, such as MS Office and ERP systems.
• Able to analyze account and/or cost variances and provide meaningful explanations to management.
• Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, graphs and data analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, inventory and general ledger.
• Good organizational skills; able to manage workload and ensure deadlines are met.
• Desire to work in a production oriented, deadline-focused environment.

Job Description
This position works closely with the accounting team and handles all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus.
This position sits in Warren, MI and will report to the Assistant Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.
• Answers all vendor inquiries.
• Prepares monthly payment run, including ACH and Wire transfers.
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate AP files.

Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for processing and creating 3D models of component assemblies used in jet engine parts. The Engineer will use NX CAD and SolidWorks software to create 3D solid models and associated operation sheets. The Engineer will determine the tools and specifications needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to customer requirements. The Engineer must be comfortable in a manufacturing setting and interacting with shop personnel when developing processes. This position sits in East Granby, CT and will report to the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create 3D models of the assembly and all components in NX.
• Create operation sheets / work instructions from 3D model in NX.
• Oversee NX standards and configuration.
• Create routing / BOM / item cards in ERP system (intuitive).
• Create milestones / project plans and make sure engineering tasks stay on track.
• Follow parts through shop to make sure there are no issues.
• Interact with shop personnel when developing processes.
• Assist in establishing part cost estimates on a mix of OEM products and overhaul services.
• Possible tool design.
• Provide support to customers / vendors on any engineering related items.
• Participate in root cause analysis and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.

• Experience operating CMM using PCDMIS a plus
